Tara has been working in the area of children and family law since 2004 and qualified as a solicitor in 2007. She is practising mediator and solicitor.

Tara's extensive legal background means that she has vast experience in dealing with all aspects of family law and assisting separating couples sort out their arrangements for the future.

Tara trained as an “all issues mediator” in 2012 and gained accreditation status with the Family Mediation Council in March 2019.

Tara is a member of Resolution, an organisation of 6,500 lawyers who believe in a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law matters, voluntarily adhering to a code of conduct.

She regularly takes part in the London Family Mediation Group meetings in Central London and attends Court as a Duty Mediator regularly.

Tara undertook her undergraduate degree in Socio-Legal Studies and Criminology at the University of Westminster in the West End. Tara was awarded a 1st Class mark for her dissertation “Criminal Justice & Police Bill and Human Rights” and won the award for “Best Undergraduate Dissertation in the area of Socio-Legal Studies and Criminology” in 2001. Tara then went on to undertake the Post Graduate Diploma in Law and then the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Holborn.

Tara has been a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel since 2012, demonstrating her expertise in the area of family law. Tara was successfully re-accredited to the panel in September 2017.
